our philosophy

After spending time working as a staff physical therapist in a hospital setting it became apparent to me that Out Patient Orthopedic Care was where my true passion lied.  I began working for a large outpatient orthopedic facility where the philosophy of the clinic was established by the owner of the facility.  It became apparent early on that patient care was second to business matters. I did what I could to provide each patient the individualized care they desired and deserved but found this next to impossible due to the extraordinarily high volume of patients scheduled each hour.  The patient care provided in this MILL-type setting was not the type of care that inspired me to become a PT.

This became the driving force behind the creation of Village Physical Therapy or VPT.  VPT was established with one primary objective, to provide personalized care to each individual with a goal of complete recovery in a timely fashion.

I believe I have achieved this goal by working longer days thus spreading out the schedule and seeing less patients each hour.  I remain the only full time physical therapist on staff which fosters a genuine relationship between patient and therapist.  This type of relationship allows for a greater success rate in regards to patient outcome.  Most importantly I truly love what I do for a living and I believe this becomes apparent to each patient during their time at VPT.
